I was talking to Bim a a while ago how it's kinda hard to know a lot of things! And as the always knowing person that I am, I found something really BIG at 4:55 this morning which totally changes everything in a way Im not sure yet.

Cant wait to talk this over with Lui, and BIGA later in school. Omfg, I dont how should I feel.

Now that the circus is over.. [Feb. 25th, 2009|10:05 am]
This year I must admit, I cared less about the USC and I focused to get to know more about local elections in CMC. I personally know a couple of people running but that didn't really affect my position on things. I thought objectively, and by the way I saw it, I voted for what I think is the best for the college.

This isn't a post of ranting about the winners I didn't like. This is a post of expectations I wish MY NEXT STUDENT COUNCIL can achieve.

I firmly believe that what we need from the student council is premium LEADERSHIP and EFFICIENCY. While I understand that as UP Students, we have to be vigilant of issues hounding the nation, CONCENTRATING ON STUDENT CONCERNS should be at the core of the projects to be planned and executed by the council we voted. By projects I mean steps and measures to be taken for student empowerment and for upholding of student rights by WORKING with the administration.

What we need is a student council which doesnt impose stands on issues, but inform the students about it in balck and white. We are not UP students for nothing; each and everyone can analyze and think for ourselves.

What we need is a council which is open minded and is not enclosed in a box of traditional ideologies. Respect of beliefs and stands are important and  willingness to compromise is needed so everyone can all work for a better college.

What we need from them are concrete projects and actions that students will be able to feel; that students will benefit from. While we all dream of changing the world, we need to start on small things, on the small issues that are needed to be addressed, on creating venues for us to train ourselves to be the better actors of the real world someday.

What we need is council of people which are ready to work away with their party's personal biases, and are ready to listen to its constituents.

What we need is a council which shall embrace everyone in the college, which does not judge and think less of people who come from other walks of life, or of people who doesn't agree on the things they personally agree on.

WHAT WE NEED IS A STUDENT COUNCIL for the students, a council which can deliver efficiently, which can stand up for what they say, and is ready to work, period.

Btw, congrats to my batchmate, Jovan for winning CMC Rep, make us proud! Congratulations to all the winners :) Work for a better CMC! Good luck!

Can someone check my grammar? Hahaha no time for copyreading, kthanksye.

I Didn't Say Goodbye [Jan. 6th, 2009|11:29 pm]

...I said THANKYOU 2008! Last year was redemption from a minor self destruction. It failed my last wish before it left but that doesn't defeat the fact that it has been so good to me. And who says better things stop as another year unfolds? I will be 2009 better! Goals are clearer, my world is safer, crisis is solved, and is probably getting there. Watch out. HAPPYNEWYEAR :)
